 I would suspect the power supply or the output section if it&#039;s sounding good.  May be your tubes are worn or the bias on the tubes.  Possibly have lost power (dc voltage) on the plates, usually that has noise from caps leaking though.

  I don&#039;t know where you are on your repair chops but the power is easy to check if you have a dummy load, scope, and volt meter.  P=E(2)/R</description>
